VPOL Assistant Superintendent II (Internal Employees Only)
Viera Pools & Outdoor Living, has an opening for a full time hourly paid Assistant Superintendent II, who will be primarily responsible for aiding superintendent in pool construction production, maintaining Viera Pools & Outdoor Living (VP) Safety, OSHA and quality standards. In addition, the Assistant Superintendent’s duties include a variety of new pool construction tasks including the following:
- Assist Superintendents with Quality Inspections and checklists, along with all day-to-day tasks and responsibilities during all stages of construction.
- Maintain overall site/community condition. This involves dewatering and cleaning pools, maintaining safety fences and includes the need for continuous bending, crouching and kneeling for cleanup purposes.
- Pool startups. This involves lifting buckets and barrels weighing 50lbs. Daily brushing of pools for the first 30 days.
- Uphold OSHA standards VP and Viera Builders, Inc. safety programs. Attend tool box talks given by Superintendent.
- Actively train and develop toward becoming a Superintendent.
- Responsible for inventory of pool equipment and supplies, along with maintaining organization and cleanliness of warehouse space. Involves lifting of 80lbs bags and equipment.
- Responsible for pictures daily and uploading them in Procore project management software and assist in updating schedules daily in Procore.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Must have construction experience. Experience working with pools preferred. Outdoor weather/environment.
- Dependability, reliability, and problem solving skills. Excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to move in excess of 50 pounds
